Booking, Paying, Deposit and Cancellation Policy:
What’s a deposit and how does it work?
Once we agree upon an idea and schedule to start, you will need to leave a deposit.
Due to time restrictions with the large scale pieces I design, I cannot draw your tattoo without a deposit and and an appointment. Deposits can either be done in person at the shop or done over the phone via credit card. The deposit varies depending on the tattoo size and the amount of sessions booked in advance from $100-250. (if we would like you to leave more than $100, we’ll let you know ahead of time. Otherwise it will be $100.)
Please note regarding deposits:
Deposits are non-refundable and reserves your appointment.
It goes toward your LAST tattoo appointment.
It is not to purchase the artwork itself, but as a downpayment on your custom tattoo.
If you must cancel, please give us at least 48 hours of notice (More would be preferable) by calling the shop. (we hate to have to address this, but messaging our instagram/social media feed, texting employees, etc is not an acceptable way to cancel. We check our voicemail every day.)
If you cancel with 48 hours (or more) of notice, you will not lose your deposit the 1st time. The second cancellation will result in a forfeit of the deposit.
If this becomes the case and your deposit is forfeited. You will need to pay for your next appointment in advance to reschedule.
If you no show/no call, you lose your deposit and you will have to leave a deposit in the amount of the entire tattoo, (or in the case of a large multiple session tattoo, $400) before we will reschedule you.
If you show up more than 20 minutes late, without notice previous to your appointment time, you will lose your deposit.
Please make sure that you are prepared to be tattooed for the time that you have scheduled. (i.e. on time, have eaten, are not on any substances, have the appropriate amount of money as agreed upon or the hourly rate for the hours that you are scheduled.)
Ravenwood is a Cash only tattoo shop. Please come prepared with the proper amount of funds for your session. There is also multiple banks on Butler Street that you may visit to get cash. Allie charges both by the hour, $150.00, and by the day, $750.00. When booking your appointment please let us know how many hours you would like to be tattooed. This way we can give you a more accurate estimate of what it will cost.
If you have a budget for the appointment, make sure to let us know while scheduling you so that there aren’t any miscommunications. We are more then happy to work with any budget.
If you don’t show up/call, disappear for 6 months etc, you’ll lose your deposit..
If I feel like you don’t respect my time, or value my services, I am free to discontinue our work relationship.
If you need to cancel, consider if you think it would be a legitimate excuse for your tattoo artist to use on you. (i.e... you get offered double time to work instead. Would you think it’s acceptable to cancel our appointment because another client offered me more money than you did, despite our scheduled appointment?)
We understand that these rules might seem harsh, but we are a very small business and your tattoo artist and you work one on one. Please consider that your cancellation may cause someone to lose out on an entire day of work. We all understand that there are occasionally emergencies and legitimate reasons, but we will do our absolute best to be there and ready to work, and we ask that you will too.
Please also note that all of the above mentioned is nonnegotiable. Please do not hassle with prices, times, availability, etc. Your artist books out months in advance and takes each client's tattoo very serious.
